Dad’s day is right around the corner, and for those of us who smoke cigars, it’s time to whip out the wish list. If you’re not sure which stick to pair with this special occasion, turn to Vin Lee, CEO of the Beverly Hills Cigar Club, for some advice. He’s put together five recommendations for dad’s this year. So, if subtlety isn’t your strong suit, just forward or tweet this story to friends and family – and let them take care of the rest. After all, it’s your day!

1. CAO America Monument Pinstripe Torpedo
Check out the interesting wrapper on this stick – it’s made from two leaves in order to create the “pinstripe” look. One of them is Connecticut Shade, and the other is Connecticut Broadleaf. The filler includes tobacco from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and the United States. Lee recommends that you smoke this cigar after firing up the grill and putting back a few burgers.

2. Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur V EMS Lonsdale
Lee calls this cigar one of the company’s best lines and suggests, “Let Dad light up the Excalibur as an aperitif to a big steak at Morton’s and glass of warm bourbon preferable Woodford Reserve.”

3. Alec Bradley Maxx The Culture Habano Toro
“Dads will love enjoying the Maxx while hanging out with the boys watching the 2010 FIFA World Cup and washing it down with icy cold Guinness,” Lee says of the strong, full-flavored cigar made from upper leaf tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras, Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica.

4. Oliva Serie V Torpedo Sungrown
Oliva creates the type of cigar that Dads can smoke after he puts the top down on his new Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet and cruises the coast at sunset,” says Lee.

5. Macanudo Robust Portofino Natural Lancero
“This is the cigar that Dad would enjoy relaxing with a chilled glass of Tattinger while texting on his new iPhone 4G how much he loves you more than your brother. He’ll appreciate the Macanudo much more than that tie.” Indeed.
