Jose Blanco’s cigar tasting seminar must have been great: I received e-mail right after it ended excitedly reporting on the experience. Having sat through the session at the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic last month, I wasn’t surprised. It’s a great program. Blanco explains from top to bottom how a cigar is blended, walking through each participant through the intricacies of identifying and balancing flavor.
