With all the products on the market, it can be pretty intimidating. Even for a seasoned cigar smoker, you walk into a cigar shop and see plenty of brands that are completely new to you. This still happens to me, from time to time, and I’m always on the lookout for new stuff.

So, you’re in the shop and crave something different. How do you decide? Take our poll to let us know.

I do reasearch. I read reviews. blog and print. Mostly, I read the reactions to the reviews
to see what real people say. I usually order a brand sampler or a 5 pack....you can't decide after one. In the past year I have probably tried 30 brands. My favorite cigar is one I was crazy about (Literally)the first time and has never let me down since. Pricy, but the enjoyment level is there. I buy boxes. I live in New York. My closest "Tobacconist"
is Davidoff. New York prices are out of the question. I buy on line.

I pick up new cigars depending on where I'm at and what I'm reading. Sometimes something just catches my eye.
