DC lawyers sure love whiskey and cigars. The Young Lawyers Section of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, Beam Global, and General Cigar Company is hosting a Scotch, Bourbon, and cigar tasting at the offices of Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan LLP.
We could use more lawyers to help us rally against all those oppressive cigar taxes. Here’s your chance to rub elbows with (and hopefully recruit) the ones that share our love for cigars. It should be just like preaching to the choir.
The event runs from 6:00pm to 8:00pm – perfect as an after-work happy hour. If you’re in DC on July 14th, stop by the offices of Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan LLP, located at 1275 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. It costs $20 for Bar Association of DC members; or $30 for non-members. If you’re a BADC member, you get to bring a friend for free if you pre-register online.
