Looks like Snoop dog is entering the cigar industry. I’m actually excited for him – his name seems synonymous with smoking other non-tobacco combustibles. One can’t help to be skeptical about his cigars. One source says it is going to be $99 for a pair whereas another source says it is going to be $0.99 for the pair of cigars.

Utah’s Davis County won’t be letting any hookah bars to open. The county’s board of health “issued a directive that hookah bars — businesses that offer waterpipe tobacco-smoking in public — be held in violation of state law,” according to the Standard-Examiner. These businesses are allowed to exist in Salt Lake County.

The cuffs are coming out. Working together, state and federal authorities have brought the hammer down on a “big non-cigarette tobacco ring” that allegedly skipped out on $35 million in California excise taxes. The investigation took three years and resulted in 15 arrests, not to mention the indictments of three businesses, according to LA Weekly.
