Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to visit Cigar Reader. I am John Thames, the founder and the creator of Cigar Reader and I am attempting to use my years of experience in the cigar industry to teach you to become a cigar expert.

I have been working in the cigar industry for over 30 years in a wide variety of different positions. I started my career in my 20’s as fan of smoking cigars in my free time. This passion soon became an obssession and I decided to get a job at my local cigar manufacturer. This was hard manual labor but it taught me everything I needed to know about how cigars are made, what it takes to create high quality cigars, as well as got to use different cigar products.

I used this experience to fuel my future entreprenuerial ventures as I started my own cigar brands and even helped cigar brands to grow their customer base. As you can tell, cigars and the cigar industry have been a passion of mine for many years and I hope to use my years of experience to help you learn more about cigars. We produce new articles on a weekly basis and are always looking for new article ideas.
